Under what circumstances can I book a failed pickup / delivery attempt ?
In the event of a failed pickup or delivery caused by the Shipper you are entitled to remuneration.
The driver must inform Quicargo immediately and must wait for Quicargo to give written approval to the Carrier to leave the site.
Where can I book the failed pickup / delivery attempt ?
You can book the final additional waiting time directly in your account by reporting the operational event:
To do this, simply select the option "Failed pickup/delivery attempt" and provide a description of the event that led to the additional waiting time.
After booking the operational event, the cost will be calculated as follow:
Domestic orders:
- Failed pickup without collection of goods to be transported: 70% remuneration of initial agreed freight charge;
- Failed delivery of goods needed: remuneration of 100% of initial agreed freight charge;
International orders:
- Failed pickup without collection of goods to be transported: 100% remuneration of initial agreed freight charge;
- Failed delivery of goods needed: remuneration of 100% of initial agreed freight charge;
Quicargo reserves the right to request GPS justification or a signed (by the customer) POD if needed to confirm the cost.
You will receive an email within 24 hours confirming the approval of your operational event and the associated cost. If the event is not approved, you will receive an email with an explanation.
